Nichols always keeps current on the latest trends in design and manufacturing of trade show exhibits to help our customers get the best the industry has to offer. On our recent trip to the 2014 Exhibitor Show we observed 10 key trends that will help you stay ahead of the curve with your next exhibit. This is the eighth in a series of posts examining those trends, and giving you tips on how you can make use of them.

Trade show trends #8: A variety of shapes, colors, and materials

As an exhibitor, you want a unique, compelling way to get your message across. With all of the great ideas at Exhibitor 2014, we weren’t surprised to see new trade show trends towards bold shapes, bright colors, and interesting materials.

The 2014 Exhibitor trends included:

  • Shapes: We noticed a move towards more angular, geometric shapes, which give a modern look and are conducive to illumination. (photos A, B, C)
  • Colors: White with bold color accents still rules the day. (photos D, E, F) Colors can be printed directly on your panels, but with a white booth you can change the color of your LED lights as a quick and easy way to make your booth a new color. Check out the display which was accented green one day at the show as a tribute to St. Patrick’s Day and blue the next! (photo G)
  • Materials: Wood is a great way to warm up your space (photo I), or you can go with faux concrete or other exciting new laminates for a more contemporary feel. (photos H, J)

With our custom design capabilities, we can find the unique way to give your booth the look you desire. Contact us to solidify your vision, and to make it a reality.

Every step of the way!
